Look at what we made!
Here are some examples of the artwork the children at NWIS make:
Making Rainbow Crayons
At the summer course 'Save the Earth' we learned about recycling. We recycled left-over crayons and made beautiful rainbow crayons. First we removed paper from the old crayons. Then we put them in cups. After melting we had wonderful rainbow crayons!
Making paper from old paper
We also learned that we can make new paper from milk cartons. First we pulled the plastic off, then we tore the paper into little pieces. From the pulp we made new paper. Look how pretty it is!
Decorating handkerchiefs
We decorated handkerchiefs using paint and templates.
